Herndon, VA — October 22, 2025 — ThinkTrends today announced that ThinkChat has been approved for deployment at a U.S. Federal Health Agency to support two initial use cases: Ticketing Intelligence that streamlines high-volume support workflows, and a public information website chat agent that helps visitors quickly find accurate, authoritative information across the agency's web properties focused on medical product safety.

With this deployment, ThinkChat will bring Agentic AI capabilities, enterprise-grade Guardrails, and secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server orchestration to the agency's environments, enabling policy-aware automation and trustworthy responses at scale.

Enterprises should not have to choose between speed and compliance. ThinkChat makes AI deployable in regulated settings by combining an agentic workflow engine with rigorous Guardrails and MCP-based integrations. We are excited to support the agency with solutions that are auditable, secure, and aligned to mission needs. Jyotiska “Jyo” Biswas, CEO, ThinkTrends

What ThinkChat Delivers

Agentic AI for real work

  • Multi-step task execution with tools, data connectors, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
  • Retrieval-augmented responses grounded in authoritative sources.
  • Policy packs and test harnesses to validate behavior before go-live.

Guardrails for production-grade safety

  • Automatic redaction and blocking of PII, PHI, and other sensitive content.
  • Context checks that prevent unsafe or off-policy outputs.
  • Full audit trails, versioned rule sets, and admin controls for review and rollback.

MCP Server orchestration

  • Secure deployment of MCP servers to expose approved tools, APIs, and data to AI agents.
  • Fine-grained permissions, role-based access, and environment isolation.
  • Centralized governance to standardize integrations across teams and applications.

Initial Use Cases

Ticketing Intelligence

ThinkChat will assist study operations teams by streamlining high-volume support workflows across EDC, CTMS, eTMF, and safety systems. Capabilities include:

  • Intake, triage, and routing of study tickets such as protocol deviations, data clarification forms, query management, site questions, and mid-study updates.
  • Summarization of case histories and recommended next actions based on protocol, SOPs, and historical resolutions.
  • Automated drafting of responses and resolution notes for coordinator or monitor review and approval.
  • Cross-system enrichment using approved connectors to EDC and CTMS, with citations to source records.
  • Guardrails that enforce GCP, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11 aligned practices, with audit-ready logs for quality and inspection needs.

Website Chat Agent

ThinkChat will power a public information website chat agent that:

  • Helps the public find current, authoritative information across the agency's websites.
  • Answers common questions with citations to source pages.
  • Escalates complex inquiries to human agents with structured context.

Built for Regulated Environments

ThinkChat is designed for secure, compliant deployments, including FedRAMP-aligned architectures in AWS GovCloud, HIPAA safeguards for PHI, FISMA and NIST control mappings, log retention aligned to M-21-31, and Section 508 considerations. Guardrails and MCP orchestration give agencies the controls they need to enforce policy, prove compliance, and operate at enterprise scale.

The difference between a demo and a deploy is governance. ThinkChat’s Guardrails and MCP approach let agencies move from pilot to production with the visibility and control their CISOs and compliance teams require. Jyotiska “Jyo” Biswas, CEO, ThinkTrends
